Here is an embellished canvas version of the illustration; printed onto a box canvas, embellished with charms, gold leaf, metallic paint and hand-printed snake skin texture. The frame was also sculptured by hand and features snakes and ornamental charms reminiscent of the snakes Medusa wears on her head. I like to blur the line with taking time to consider the framing of my work, and try to make the imagery seen in the image 'real'.
