'Lohengrin Act III', original illustration, was part of a series of paintings based around the fantastical life of King Ludwig II of Bavaria who was most famous for being mad (I like to think he was misunderstood!) and for building the fairytale Neuschwanstein castle in Bavaria. Ludwig II was obsessed by Wagner and the opera Lohengrin. The Grail castle featured the opera was the actual inspiration behind Neuschwanstein castle which was designed and visualised by Christian Jank - a set designer. Lohengrin is the story of the Swan Knight brought to rescue the fated Elsa.
 
A5 in size, blank for your own message and comes with a white envelope.
